And each block will take in the input and possibly send out some output. Each block can run by itself or in congunction with other little blocks. These "blocks" are the Services and you can build more complex system by attaching services together. I like diagrams so here is one I made.		The software is service based framework. * The framework language is Java. - the choice was done on the fact that it is fairly platform independent and there is an open-source version
* Arduino is the only board currently working, however, PicAxe could be coming shortly (the Borg grows!)
* Most Hardware communication is done through a serial interface to the micro-controller although the parallel port and other i/o hardware is supported

* OpenCV - interface to opencv for computer vision
* RecorderPlayer - service which can record the messages (input/output) of other services
* RemoteAdapter - service which can allow multiple instances on remote computers to communicate with one another (distributed robot), or GUI control of a remote robot
*Sensor general digital sensor
* Servo
* Speech - simple Text to Speech Service - send it words or numbers and it will speak them
* StepperMotor - allows control of a steppermotor
